A billet version of the Oil Pump to suit Nissan RB25/26 engines. This HSE pump is a true anodized BILLET aluminium oil pump, not a machined casting.

This HSE pump is a true anodized BILLET aluminium oil pump, not a machined casting. Based on the OEM version, we have made some changes after consultation with various engine builders around the country. The HSE pump bolts on to the same place as the factory pump and does not require any special tooling to fit.

We use the N1 oil pump gear “wave” profile with an extra step at the rear to help support the oil pump gears themselves and provide a better contact on the crank drive area. This is a special gear made by HSE, specifically for these oil pumps. For those who want to go a step further, they can also be supplied with a spline drive. (Note: spline drive gears require special equipment to fit the collar to your crank and will need to be installed by a professional engine shop)

The pressure relief valve on an OEM pump is at the bottom, meaning any changes to the valving requires the sump to be removed. On the HSE Billet Oil Pump, this has been rectified by moving the valve to the side and therefore allows access without having to remove the sump.

Rear cover flex on OEM pumps have always been an issue. The aluminium cover plates flex and allow oil to escape back into the sump at high RPM. HSE Billet Oil Pumps come with a steel backing plate, eliminating this problem and ensuring that good pressure is maintained even at high RPM.

HSE has done extensive bench testing on these pumps, with specialised testing equipment, to allow us to get real pressure and flow readings on our billet pumps vs OEM. We now have pressure and flow figures from 750-8000 RPM. There is no guess work – you can see exactly how these pumps perform compared to OEM pumps.
